Virgin No More

After nineteen years, I took the public transportation and actually made it home. It may not sound like an achievement to you but if you were in my shoes, lain lah ceritanya.

I'd like to tell you how much I despise taking public transport, how utterly unbalanced I am, my thing against crowded places (the sole reason I evade from concerts and rowdy celebrations), the infamous failed attempt at finding my way home, how many people laughed in my face when I told them I intended to balik without a friend nor a car, and to what extends I'll go to avoid trains and such..but alas, I'm too sleepy to type even another sentence.

Goodnight people :)

P/s: Thank you Sha for the tip and many more *hug

White Flag

I went for my driving test again. And guess what?

I FAILED AGAIN!

This is the THIRD time I’m retaking the test and I have to fail it because of my bengongness. I highly doubt I’m ever gonna get close to obtaining my drivers license because I am so so sick of failing.

Sibeh tulan.

Hahaha. I bet you didn’t fall for that. Did you, did you? Everyone tells me I’m such a bad liar I donno why I even bother sometimes.

But that’s not the issue to fret over now. The point is…. I PASSED.

I DID IT.

Can you believe it, I passed! OMG. I really did. *skipjumphopfly*
Despite the well wishes I’ve gotten from so many people, yeah I know… now everybody knows that I’ve failed twice, I AM still very much traumatised by my failure. I can never handle the failure department very well except for Biology, but of course, cos I’m immune to feeling all of devastation when I fail that subject. Heh.

I was well; scared, frightened, panicky and whatnot. My heartbeat sounded like a monotonous buzz, that was how fast it was pumping okay. Die or not I ask you?

I was thinking that in just case I fail the bukit/parallel parking again this time around (again), I’m not going to take the test anymore, and this time, for real. But before that, I will not get out of the car when the officer asks me to, and in deep rage and frustration, bang all the kancils around and later on the JPJ officers.

All the while I was chanting feverishly in my head that I not make yet another brilliantly grand mistake because that is what I do best despite my best of efforts not to. But I guessed, it worked :D

When I finally made it back to the start of the circuit, I was smiling so brightly my 156349 watts smile was more hazardous than a radioactive plant with laser beams all around.

Here I Go Again

I’m retaking driving again.
Yes yes, I’m not giving up just yet okay.
People say I might get lucky the third time around.
So yeah.. If I don't pass, I'm gonna drop a lighted match on the head on whoever that told me that cos I'm pinning all my hopes on it.

A Sign From Above

You know what? Some things are just meant to be.
And I, am meant to be driven around.
So there.

I Just Know

"Practice doesn't make perfect.
PERFECT practice makes perfect."
I will damn you, damn parking.

Aih

No time to stay and rant, I've got  tests to study for.

For the next week or so, I'll be on a mourning binge. So don't raise an eyebrown when you see me only in black or white.

Stoopid wind that blew the tiang down :((

Can I or Can I Not?

Just got back from driving. My last lesson.

Um, yay?

And it's finally dawned on me that my driving test is tomorrow!

I'm gonna start freaking out. What if I fail?!

Everyone has been a bunch of confusing asses. One second they tell me "Sure can one. No problem, I have faith in you" And the other second they say "Aiya, Weishya sure fail."

So can I or can I not do it?

I cannot afford to fail.

I'll never live up to it if I fail.

And Daddy will slowly torture me then kill me with his "Why are you so stubborn, I told you not to tekan minyak when making a turn right?".

And imagine how much the guys will tease me. I really cannot fail.

I will NOT fail.

Note to self:
1. Not close my eyes when I'm reaching the line during my slope test. Yah, I know I'm damn retarded. I get so scared that I’ll not reach the line or I'll pass the line that I close my eyes.
2. Remember my lefts and rights. Maybe I should draw arrows on my palms to indicate the lefts and rights...
3. Change gears at the right time. Ms Chin keeps saying "slower, slower" or "faster, faster". How come I cannot drive at an appropriate speed?
4. Turn the steering wheel properly and go slower whenever I’m making a turn, ESPECIALLY U-TURNS. Sometimes I turn super nicely, sometimes Daddy gives me that look. How la, how la.
5. Everytime I make a turn, check for blind spots. Every failure to check blind spot will cost me 4 points. It's downright stupid to make this mistake. Why waste demerit points on blind spots? Where I can easily avoid this mistake by TURNING MY BIG HEAD.
6. Remember the test route! Imagine what would happen if I got lost.
7. Not make my engine die. Stupid clutch.
8. Remember to wear my safety belt, check the gear, check the mirrors, check the wipers and signal. I really don't know why they make us go through the hassle of checking everything. Blah.

And Dear Buddha(you love me right?), please also:
1. Give me a nice kancil with a proper clutch and gear and door during the test. People tell me some of the kancils they got are so retarded.
2. Give me a nice tester that will overlook the teeny weeny meeny mistakes I make and by luck, switch gears for me.
3. Keep me safe and make sure I don't do anything retarded like squeezing my eyes shut or going too fast or not turning the wheel when making a turning.

And lastly,
4. HELP ME PASS!

:)

01 November 2008

If I can't see you. You can't see me.

Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off.

I got this from the net. Go look it up. There's a list of slogans from each corporate sponsor.

Damn funny okay.

Anyway, it's been confirmed that I'm taking my driving exam next Monday. Which is exactly in what, three days? If I go for it, I won't be back in time for Monday classes and skipping would be the last thing I wanna do cos Mondays are packed to the brim with classes and replacing them would be a hassle. Especially after I've taken serious measures to find a good Econs lecture that fits my timetable so nicely :(

Major bummer.

A friend actually came up to me and said, 'don't bother skipping class for exams lah, cause you sure fail wan'. Just you wait. Sheeshs.

So yes, I'll be back in Subang for three days instead of the usual quickie weekend back home! Turns out, daddy dearest wants me to take extra driving lessons. He suggested it merely ten minutes after getting into the car during the test practice on Friday eveining which I went out all the way just to get back home in time for.. -.-

So of course, in order not to not fail, waste money, and piss him off, must go right. Ha! There goes my weekends la. So much for it.

There's also the visit to the dentist which will earn me glares and nurses chastising me for not making it to the appointment on the appointed date, again! I really don't plan to miss appointments all the time, but it happens. Even after I've set multiple reminders.

Econs test and Accounting next week. My stress level is increasing at a rate I can't even predict. Wth, my pimples all pop out already lah. Like really.

P/s: Happy November ppl! :))

See Me Wishing I Were You

I'm Home!

For a day. Before I leave for Setapak tomorrow. But it feels good to be home, even if briefly.

I miss my bed, which is beginning to lose my scent and smelling faintly suspicious of Tall Sister. :(:(

As much as I would like to blog on nonsensical ramblings, mundane happenings of my life, and nonexistent photos, I'll be updating on a weekly basis because my sad excuse of a college life does not permit me to spent 2647 hours in front of the desktop screen.

To sum up it all up, the first week back to college was somewhat tiring. And the good/bad/neutral news is that I'm usually dead to the world before two. Hmm.

Finally got my timetable finalized this week, I have six subjects inclusive of English and Bahasa Malaysia. The Business Statistics subject I love/hate so much has been upped to Quantitative Studies. Looking at the graphs and lines and laws, I've started to freak out, really. College timetable is really packed, and I've nicely arranged my lectures to suit the preference of my lecturers and if anyone or anything comes in my way to disrupt it, go away! I'll be having classes 5 days a week unlike some lucky asses who got Fridays off. *big big sighs*

In the wake of the start of a new semester, new resolutions have been made. And the ironicity of it was a majority of them were broken on the very first week *smacks head*. Sheryl nearly had me fooled with her 'I will be on time for class' . Sook Huei's one probably went something like this 'Eat less bread so my friends will stop calling me breadface'. Mine was to give exercising a shot and not let people tread all over me. Which I did live up to it, for this week anyway. I went jogging. No shit. Ask Sheryl, cos I'm sure she wouldn't erase the memory of her physically unfit friend exercising for the first time since forever, anytime soon. Another outstanding one was not doing everything I'm not suppose to during lecture. Gah, Economics was such a sleeping pill, the atmosphere so dead I had to make humorously stoopid remarks to stay awake. I hope I won't lose interest with all the charts and graphs.

This week also had me up the wall with the constant rain, instantly drenching the new red shoes, and then Ms Chin, the driving instructor postponed my exam to the first week of November after I've so carefully arranged replacement classes for that specific day. Ishness. I also must learn not to leave my phone all over the place and the art of ignoring phone calls from people whom I work with. Because picking them up only drags you into deeper shit. Meaning, forcing myself away from whatever it is activity I choose to indulge myself at that moment of time; sleeping, to layan whatever qualms and enquires.

You see how nice I am now?
:S

28 September 2008

Stupid blogger, will you get my font size right?

Hello elloe! Miss me?
No one came banging on my doors, I guess not :S

But oh well, knowing everyone is either still schooling or studying for major exams, I forgive you. First week of the temporary freedom from the jungles of tar college was surprisingly nice, if not, satisfying. I don't need to go out, lepak sampai pukul tiga pagi or pay twelve bucks to have my hati kecut to the size of a raisin on Uncle Lim's Flying Coaster. I am easy to please, seriously.

Throw me a book and a pillow and I'll keep outta your hair for the next ten hours or so. And no, if you're thinking that I've been bookworming my holiday away, you're wrong. I've been regaining energy, all those night I burned for studying is now replenished as if it never happened. Mum would have said otherwise but nevermind that. Heehee. On Tuesday I finally made it to the dentist's office after putting off appointments for quite a while now, if you noticed, my rubberbands were the same color for quite some time. It's now turquoise, standing out painfully.

And Wednesday, was
the day I started driving lessons. At long last! After the tutor briefly went through what was what and where went where, she got out and kicked me to the driver's seat. I didn't expect to be driving anywhere near a flashy vehicle just so soon. I did pretty okay, I think, since I got both myself home without a scratch, okaay la! I've got problem coordinating my hand and legs so everytime I tukar gear, I'll look down to see if I'm doing it right which only resulted with me swerving off my lane and the lady half yelling 'eh, where you going la?'.

Up to today, I've taken three lessons, two hours each. I'm still trying to get the hang of it, I can change gear properly now but I also forgot what happened in the second lesson. Ms Chin always goes 'slower, slower' or 'faster, faster'. Why I cannot drive at appropriate speed wan? And when she directs me to a left or right, I
suddenly forget my directions. OMG la. It's NOT funny when I'm three seconds away from a junction and start to panic, I'll give up and peep over, she'll sigh and point out the way to me.

And the CLUTCH, sigh.

The number of times I successfully mati enjin is beyond countable. I swear the kancil perposely dies on me when it senses my panicity level rising. Pfft!

Here's a logo for my upcoming coll fundraising, any comments? Spent three hours on it, inclusive of msning and blogging, having a burger and watching grey's Anatomy in between while trying to force fit the background into the circle. Bong Yang says it looks like a watermenlon, what say you?

Anyways, here's my Sunday morning perks: best friends and dimsums.

That Purple Thing

And so, a week has passed, packed full of activity such that I had too little sleep and had no choice but to concuss on the ride back to home grounds. It was a tiring but fulfilling week, I even managed to meet up with the datelines I had set *ifeelsoproud*. Many thanks to everyone that played a part of it; from piggyback rides after walking a whole day in too tiny heels to being treated Singapore Laksa in maggi hotcup =.=

On a frustrating note, I have never been more mad or confused. Those feelings left me feeling like a tv rosak on a euro championship season. I can’t explain this. But then I can’t explain a lot of things. I just wish, sometimes, I had the guts to give people a piece of my mind. Like how I feel I am worthy to fume and boil because to think of it, I have already done my part, for that matter, I was left with no option but to complete a whole task single-handedly, with no help whatsoever. I have camped at the library after classes for days, sometimes, until late in evenings, freaking lifeless, rambling hungry, frozen cold until my teeth chatter as if it's gonna fall off, while knowing I have a pile of homework to go back to. Adding on to my sappiness, I've shamelessly borrowed friend’s of friend’s laptop to continue wracking my head until wee hours of the morning.

So please, spare me, don’t put words (or feelings) in my mouth. Do you even have the faintest idea how I feel? How exhaustion has seeped into my spine overnight I'd have to force myself up from bed the next morning? Crack open that mascara encrusted eyelashes of yours read this and comprehend it well, I have no intentions to bitch but do realize that the world doesn’t revolve around you.
Readers, don't you go bitching around either. Lay off my case.

I love how my parents are always on my side when I moan. They will chastise why I let people walk all over me and proceeds to defend for me which I would be absolutely smitten. *hearts*

I am in serious need of an intense blogging session and Anger Management classes. I mean, I'm always losing my temper and getting myself into sticky muddles. This week, not only did I manage to lose control over my temper and self-dignity, I somehow managed to lose muscle control over my limbs too.

What’s wrong with me, people? :(

Until further notice, my hotlink number shall be un-responsive.
So don’t get maddeningly furious when you don’t get a reply.
And don’t send me follow up texts like ‘Weishya, you okay anot? Why never reply’.
You will definitely not receive a reply, I assure you.

In my defense; Weishya needs time off to battle with the dragons within her. And with much skepticism and determination, she shall calm the beast and sing it a lullaby or two ;)

On days like these, good music pacifies to soothe the ever cynical ranting mind, so please recommend.

P/s: As much as I'd like to blame my mood on PMS, I can't. I swear my ovaries have a mind of it's own, badmouth it and relish it's doldrums.
P/ss: My first driving lesson will be tomorrow, although feeling out of the zone, I'm reaaally excited about it.

Here’s a fact of life; popularity doesn’t affect your future
If someone told me this in high school, I don’t think I would have believed them. But at this moment in time, nearly eighteen years of age, a step closer to my P license, popularity is a matter of opinion, and even the most popular kids may not have any real friends. It is much more important to look for quality of friends rather than quantity of friends.
You know who you are.

For the Record

I have a bucketful or rather a whole head full of grumbles to rant about which is somehow related to the essay long text message I read when I woke up abruptly about five this morning. The contents were disturbing enough to keep me awake until sunrise despite the fact that my system was crying out for all the rest it lack of over the past weekend.

A handful of people have been complaining that my blog is lacking of pictures. In other terms, way too many words for their liking. Grr. Due to endless demand, nah la, here it is :)

Rumah KIDS, 2/2

Choon Onn & Kuan's House Visit, 11/2

Visit to FGS, 13/2

YS Lou Sang, 15/2

YS House Visiting, 16/2

I took so long with this blogpost that Jason was whinging on MSN I reply only every four minutes, which is about fifteen replies in an hour. Accounting student konon. Sheesh. After a lengthy conversation, we agree that money can’t buy time. He’s lacking of it, I on the other hand, has plenty.

Right now, I need to catch up on some sleep, I went thru the last and final six hour driving lecture. The system is so messed up. BN should allocate more professionally trained lecturers who don't crack up lame jokes in every sentence haha! I'm sorry Amran for conking out your phone batts!

P.ss: Like my new new new layout? heehee

24 January 2008

Maggi goreng, tak nak tauhu.

Today I PASSED my Undang-undang (driving theory) test! Got 90%, ain’t that super fantastic, but it’ll do! Thanks to Venice for tipping me with her wise words of: “If you don’t know an answer, go with the longest one!” That piece of advice is here for all the rest of you to harvest its benefits…if you dare that is.

I arrived reasonably early. Not that I was late or anything because the god damnit vehicle that was to ferry us about was tardy. I met Kee Hoong and Amrul there who were mumbling with their own undang-undang booklets. We were all of the same purpose on that day. About 9am, we departed to Damansara by a van. To our suprise, the small compacted room was too, overcrowded with students of other driving centers. I grumble and pick holes a great deal, I know. That it came to a point that Amrul had to feed me mint mentos’s every few minutes or so just to shush me, sue me dude!

Well, the next part is yet another dreadful lecture, six hours this time! I can’t believe how messed up the system is. Bleargh.

Someone once discouraged me from driving, the logical reason: “there’ll be less road accidents this year”

On a different note, why does everyone doubt my capability to cook? Yes, I cook. Don’t give me that puzzled look full with shock and astonishment! Whenever I make that statement, it’s always always followed by a ‘you’re bluffing’ or something close to that. Sheesh.

Over our lunch at the ulu mamak today, I suddenly wanted to know how to cook maggi goreng. Don’t laugh okay. It’s not hilarious I tell you. I was curious and I'm always so used with the soupy ones. And yes, Kee Hoong burst out in laughter’s finding my lack of knowledge in the secret recipe of maggi goreng highly amusing. I swear this classmate of mine has a thing for plowing up all my flaws and amplifying them for the world, repeatedly. He questioned my ability to cook.

How dare you.

Nevertheless he proceed to explain the simple steps to cook maggi goreng which I replied with a 'cheh' haha! I can't give him credit for maggi goreng, I have my pride to keep you know.

Of rain and frustrations

Undang is so dull,
it drives Weishya nuts!

And I finally sat for the FIVE-hour long driving talk already. It's absolutely pointless, but it's not like anything about the "learning-to-drive process" isn't. I'm just glad I've got one tiresome step out of the way. And I met Kee Hoong there, of all people. Guardian angels come in many forms, I believe, he was mine for the day. He is not that bad to hang out with actually. :) I managed to tempt him to try a lollipop. A guy who’s stays far away from sugary foodstuff for the fear of diabetes. Imagine that!

Me and my blueberry flavor lollipop

Kee Hoong, hours later with a cola one.
I have great influence, I know :)

The bible

Very attentive, agree much?

The talk started with mundane videos and pathetic jokes, I swear, that speaker can win the ‘Best malingerer’ award. He idles and waste time. I nearly pulled my hair out in frustration. Hey malay dude, ever heard of the pepatah ‘Time is PRECIOUS’?

It was impossible to catch a few winks. The chap behind me kept nudging my chair, its infuriating and intolerable. I managed to live through it amazingly. After lunch, I had this vast urge to pee. I was taken aback by floating faeces. What a turn off ish.

After the talk, we took a lengthy route home. Had to pick up the other students who were taking the Undang test at someplace in KL. A larger portion of the day I didn’t know my precise location. Dad called asking my whereabouts more then once, and without fail, I replied I donno lah! Sesat wei.

At that KL undang exam centre, I made new friends. Amran, Minguel & Jason! Haha these three are a perfect example of muhhibah. Jason is what you say…err unique? He’s got a piercing on his lip which I can’t help but gape whenever he strikes a conversation that I’ve to look in another direction. Jason sniffs total strangers hair and bets on which shampoo brand they use. He went right down to its brand and colour in fact. How you know I use the pink colour Sunsilk ah? People, for future references, I do not use liters of shampoo nor do I wash my hair thrice a day. Sheesh.

Jason, I'm no amoi la you doink. For that matter, I'm not a hamburger either, Minguel

All that waiting was a huge swell in the arse especially when one is in need to pee and is in severe hunger. Not a great combination I would say. I reached home only at eight pm. Yes, you heard it right, EIGHTpm. That is insane as I was over and done with the talk at 2thirty pm. Approximately five hours thirty minutes washed down the drain.

On a random note, I saw Mika's video for Lollipop. Cute animations.

Another random note, I am mediocre clueless about operating Facebook.

My holidays are great but it's becoming very routine. In need for a slight change, I'm working as a promoter for Phillips in Parade this weekend, come visit me :):)
