Somewhere, sometime, probably next time?
While I've just only got into bed, someone else is waking up for college/work.
While I'm watching TV, a hit and run accident happens in the busy roads of KL.
While I'm paying for the ice cream I craved for a week now, someone else is crying their eyes out at funeral.
While you're in a cinema watching a new action movie accompanied by a box of caramel popcorn, a kid in Africa dies of hunger.
While I'm crying on my pillow, you're having a sundae.
While I'm eating my Maggi Mee Goreng, someone else is eating dirt out of poverty.
While I'm collecting newspapers for recycling, the stooopid election people put up banners all over the place that I can't see what's behind it. What happened to environmental friendly eh?
While I'm sitting here blogging, the stray cat behind your house just gave birth to nine kittens.
This made me think how many a time we all whimper and whine over our problems not realising that there are so many people out there who are struggling with infinity worse issues than our trival matters.
There's so so many more examples I can think off but I've only five minutes. I hope the finished products of five minutes isn't that awful as it seems to be :S

Yesterday, Today, and The Other Day
Yesterday, I woke up at eleven.
Yesterday, I did the laundry. And as it seems, you can’t add too much soap powder or the clothes color will fade. Which I did anyway.
Yesterday, I lost my phone in my very own shoebox of a room. I found it four hours later between the folds of my shirts in the cupboard.
Yesterday, I learn how to pronounce Adelaide properly instead of mumbling it.
Yesterday, I wore my brand new red shorts I bought from the Thai Fair ages ago :D
Yesterday, I rave about blogs and my Happy Moment entry at Jesmine’s house.
Yesterday, I lighted up the candles of Jesmine’s birthday cake at her surprise party.
Yesterday, I survived the car ride back despite Carmen and Juliet crooning to BSB’s ‘I want it that way’ hit song in the backseat.
Yesterday, Jun Keat shared with me the secret formula to convert ordinary university students into zombies. Don’t ask.
Yesterday, I discovered a fellow friend, Amran whom finds Cheesy Wedges irresistible. Sadly, we succumb to temptation.
And yesterday, I slept at SIX.am. My sleeping troubles are getting nasty.
Today, I woke up slightly after eleven.
Today, I skipped breakfast.
Today, on pure misfortune, I burnt a hole in Daddy’s slacks. I hope he never finds out.
Today, I pray Daddy doesn’t read my blog.
Today, I learned my lesson not to text when ironing. Especially when I just woke up and my reflexes are still asleep.
Today, Pei Hao went through great pains to borrow books from his library for me. I am indeed very thankful for saving me from having to attempt reading The Hobbit for the tenth time.
Today, I'm reading the book Innocence by Kathleen Tessaro.
Today, I skipped lunch. I had a sudden loss of appetite :(
Today, I'm writing the last&final secretary report in my lifetime.
Today, while I was drafting this post, the lightning caused the electricity to trip and thus drowning me with darkness and much frustration.
Today, I am thankful for Blogger’s autosave :)
Today, I received a text, so disturbing, it haunts me to this very minute.
Today, the thought of getting a new prepaid SIM pack crossed my mind.
Today, I burnt the fish I was supposed to cook for dinner.
The other day, I received my long dreaded National Service letter. I nearly cried la. I shall elaborate on this in a later post.
The other day, I saw a shitzu so cute. It’s got a red nose. It’s a pity dogs have such bad breath.
The other day, I marked ten cigarettes with an orange highlighter. The deal was that this person in particular was not to indulge in this dreadfully awful habit after this final packet OR he’d do anything I ask.
The other day, I went for Joey’s open house.
The other day, I took the word nearby only for granted.
The other day, I felt neglected (not that it was their fault) because there’s this big great invincible barrier that comes in between when poker cards and gambling are involved.
The other day, I witness someone washing his face with aquatic plant water (?)
The other day, I discovered that I have a friend who is slightly colorblind.
The other day, I went shopping with none other Yee Yang. And
The other day, I wondered why, yes why, men complain when the women shop, but still insist the woman to choose between the black Adidas backpack with red stripes or white stripes. We do not have the urge to touch everything we see okay. I whack you baru you tau.

I am touched
On a different note..

He praised my blog.
Moreover, he said it’s impressive.
And that my English is powerderful.
More importantly, he loves my writing. Good command of English as he puts it.
I am absolutely gob-smacked.
How often do I hear these words of awe? You really wanna know? Hardly.
How come nobody says that but Shing Vee?
Why? Is my writing to boring? Or do I whinge a great deal? Tell me, tell me!
The praises Shing Vee sang got me swelling alike a balloon to cloud nine. And to my surprise, he initiated to promote for me! Aaah.
You’re such bad influence Shing Vee, you gave me so much hopes of winning. I felt so motivated and hyped last night I couldn’t sleep until four.am last night. I swear there was a bounce in every step I took. Over dinner I was smiling like a lovesick teenager that my dad kept glancing my way. Haha!

Happy Moments
Receiving cuddles or a phone calls from a certain person for no real reason?
Or Fridays, when work/school is over and you can finally relax, and not worry about oversleeping and traffic jams the next morning?
Money can’t buy happiness. That’s a fact, really. People go on diets pills, spend too much money for clothes, or suck up to popular people - because they think it will make them happy!
If I had a squillion dollars and was designing my perfect playroom and had to choose between a real-live pinball machine, a Galaga arcade game, or the newest widescreen plasma television Courts Mammoth has to offer, I would choose the pinball machine hands down, every single time. Although really, if I had a squillion dollars, I should be able to have all three, don't you think? Gees, I guess a squillion dollars just doesn't go as far as it used to.
Happiness as defined by me and only me. I know you wanna know what makes me happy. Heehee.
So, at the risk of revealing what a big dork I can be (you'll have to take my word that most of the time, I'm pretty cool), I thought I'd blog about some of the many thing that makes me happy. You know things I love, that I would only admit publicly under the threat of death! You will see a recurring theme of ‘things a teenage girl likes’ (according to my mum) and these have been on my mind given the fact that there is NO good TV programs to watch right now.
And in no particular order, what makes Weishya happy...
- Gilmore Girls – I admire the close-knit relationship Lorelai has with Rory. And I love the many other quirky characters. Have you any idea how sad am I that this show is over?! I watched every episode of all the seasons, with no help from Astro, and sadly enough, sang the theme song every time I watched ((at the top of my lungs)).
- Ice cream! The best comfort food yet. Haagen Dazs’ Strawberry Cheesecake or Baskin Robbin’s Cookies and Creme!
- Free from homework and chores on a rainy day to curl up and snooze under a warm fuzzy cozy blanket.
- Good hair days, which don’t come by often.

- Forty bucks a haircut that goes without charge.
- The many many variety of Malaysian kuihs; BANANA FRITTERS, keropok lekor and yummy karipaps.
- Organizing Dharma camps. The entire process makes me happy. Happier than you’ll ever know. New friendships are formed while old ones are strengthened.
- A simple ‘thank you’ that comes unexpected.

- Good novels, you can lose yourself between what's real and what's not. Everything seemed so magical. I love books by Cecelia Ahern, Nicholas Sparks, Dan Brown, Sophie Kinsella, and Julie Cohen.
- Surfing blogs, I love being a fly inside people’s heads, understanding what goes on in their worlds. Each & every one is truly unique and gifted.
- I absolutely love it when I come back home and find a letter/package/parcel for me. It’s one of the best cures for bad moods and down days, even more effective than takeaway ice cream while watching an excellent movie at home with good movie-company (I swear, this is so hard to come by nowadays)
- My best friend, the one and only Crystal Chow. She makes you laugh even when you feel like crying. She’s got the tendency to convince people that everything will be okay even when the world is on the verge of falling apart. She keeps me sane in many ways.

- Whatever thing that’s related with peanut butter and chocolate. I’d say the normal milk chocolate M&M's were super, but then a friend brought peanut butter M&M’s for me. Those rocked like nothing else did. But then again, have you tried Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? Oooooh!
- Clean, pristine washrooms. Everytime I visit Pyramid, without fail, I’d step into their toilets for a little peek. I so love the unique design, cool signage, the lightings, mirrors sparkles, fantastic sink, doors that match the walls. And the spaciousness of each cubical HAHA!
- When Mum unexpectedly cooks up lip-smacking snacks for me. I absolutely love her mango shakes, it’ll leave you smiling for hours later on even when there’s the dreaded Biology exam on the next day.
- An hour of nap in between school and tiresome accounts tuition. That’s a fresh dose of happiness in just sixty minutes, at no extra cost.
- Showers! It’s more then just a place to wash off accumulated grime. Showers is when I my best brooding, when I finally step out, I feel like a renewed person all over again.

- Blogging. With every blogpost I type, a great pride swells up inside me. Some say blogging is a waste of good time. That’s the ignorance talking, for the satisfaction I experience is indescribable.
I will stop here before you decide to never read my blog again.
Anyway here's a video that never fails to crack me up. Its hilarious. Spongebob narrates the scenes from Casablanca, Singing in the Rain, and the Godfather. One of the highlights of the Annie Awards last Friday night was a small video concocted by the cast of Spongebob Squarepants (M.C. Tom Kenny, along with presenters Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence and Bill Fagerbakke), created to prove they shouldn't be labeled simply as Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy.
If you dare, please share your happy moments!
I shall assume that you ARE absolutely fascinated and gob-smacked with my Happy Moments so there, VOTE for me! I guarantee that shall multiply my happiness by a tenfold :)

The time to be happy is now.
The place to be happy is here.
The way to be happy is to make others so.

I want a baby to cuddle
and I'd like to return her when she starts wailing out loud and crapping in her diaper?

Adorable, no?
