I hardly watch the idiotbox. Given the circumstances of my living conditions, you'd think its normal. But even when I am on long (is two weeks deemed long??) holiday breaks, or in the last four weeks that I've permanently moved back home, you wouldn't find me in front of the idiotbox either. It's that I just don't have time! I just can't sit still in front of the box for hours at the time when there's that fat book I've been wanting to pick up. just. sitting. there...
Though, I've follow television series such as Big Bang Theory, Chuck and my newest addiction for 2 Broke Girls, I very seldom sprint off on marathon sessions on the couch until 5 am for consecutive days.
It is beyond me how people can engulf a forty episode drama series; 40 minutes per episode, in just three days. How?!! No need sleepeatshit is it?
Though...
I grew up watching A LOT of cartoons and children's programme, when I mean A LOT — it's alot! This pair of glasses comfortably perched on the bridge of my nose is a dead giveaway. I must have watched every episode of Sesame Street, twice at least D:
I remember how I used to wake up at 8 every morning to catch my fav cartoons on telly as a kid — no alarms necessary. Talk about dedication!
Sometimes I wish these cartoons would continue on, as I genuinely believe the cartoons of my generation were the best, and well suited for generation today as well.
Flipped through Cartoon Network recently and I have absolutely no idea what is so appealing about the cartoons now, or perhaps I'm growing up?

Dissonant, Disoriented & Undefined
So it took me two years to get from that dissonant, disoriented and undefined state to where I am comfortably perched today. It took several tries but I guess the saying "third times a charm" rings true in this case.

Life Update
Because why the hell not, right?
One, in exactly two days I will be packing up my life here in Ululand and shipping everything I've amassed over the last four years, back home.
Two, that being said...packing makes me sad. But I am also way excited about going home! More so than could possibly be healthy. Reason being, haven't seen the family in four weeks! T___T
Three, I'm bracing myself towards all things healthy my mother (and FatHer) will be pushing under my nose. I’d say what else is new, but this time, I'll willingly digest it all cos after 4 loooooong years of college, I kinda want to live long enough to see what happens next.
Four, I took a chance. May have had some doubts at first but it's all so worth it now!
Five, I really need to get my eyes checked. Or maybe it's the haze, I don't know.

“But who can say what's best? That's why you need to grab whatever chance you have of happiness where you find it, and not worry about other people too much. My experience tells me that we get no more than two or three such chances in a life time, and if we let them go, we regret it for the rest of our lives.”
