And again.

My bags are unpacked, heaped at the end of bed.
There's a layer of dust and grime everywhere.
There's lizard's poop scattered in every nook and canny I turn.
Notes from last semester are scattered on my desk.
Cobwebs adorn the room walls.
And and..my bed suddenly doesn't look as apealing as it used to.

I want to cry laa.

Why Am I So Lazy?

Mad scientist and geniuses have yet to come up with answers for that. :P

It is without a doubt that laziness gets the best out of me particularly during this holiday. I can feel my brain cells shutting down one by one as I make a good impression of a couch potato.

All I've successfully accomplished is feeding my addiction of pacman and watching alot of telly while ogling at hot guys like a bimbo without a single strand of intelligence.

This is so not me.

Okay, let me tell you a story. The other day, Jian Sunn and Jason Loh called and tried persuading me out for dinner or something like, I wasn't really paying attention.

The both of them were so soo persistent I don't know what got into them. I being thick head, absolutely refused to go. After all, I just had dinner. Going out would just mean one thing - eat some more.

They gave in after a while. Triumphing in my easy getaway, I resume whatever it was I was doing. Moments later another call came saying they were lepaking at my park and I have to have to come out.

I managed to formulate an ingenious diversion plan to escape. All in a split second, and I'm not proud of it. I requested for thirty minutes which came and went and I was still unmoved.

The park in concern is barely twenty leaps away from home. I was that reluctant to go out.

After two hours and many mosquito bites, Jason succumbed to statements like 'eh apa masalah kau la' and creating chaos down the street with his flashy car.

At the end of the day, I accomplished nothing but make two people frustrated to their socks and end up feeling guilty about it.

----

In their attempts of dragging me out of my depression/unsocialable state, I've been asked to go ice creaming later which I've agreed to go. Heehee.

:)

Thank you for trying to begin with.

Get It Right

The biggest misinterpretation about myself is that I am a Christian.

Everyone is misled by my supernoob ability of being unable to speak Chinese. The criteria of a Buddhist does not include conversing fluently in Chinese just so you know.

There are temples in Malaysia that conduct activities in plain English. Oh hello.

In Events Of 2/19

This morning, I woke up with the sudden passion to quit my course and enroll myself to become a science genius.

There's so many things I'd like to invent, namely a two in one memory-cum-emotion eraser. This eraser will enable me to keep certain memories that I want to hold on to and dispose what I don't like.

Pretty cool eh?

Darn, I just need to be smarter.

Breathless

I just got back from a walk around the neighbourhood park. It literally sucks losing to dad in terms of physical fitness weii. And may I add on that he has figured out complicating functions of skype and photoshop while I am still the katak di bawah tempurung.

Nooooooooooooo.

Tangy Experience

Happy Two-Days-Late Chap Goh Meh people!

Chap Go Meh, 'the fifteenth night' of the Chinese New Year festivals, is also better known as the Chinese Valentines. Young single women berkumpul beramai-ramai to throw oranges into the sea/river/pond in hopes of finding love.

Attached with the mandarin orange are scribbled names and mobile numbers (and perhaps nowadays with msn, fb account and blog links?) Today I read in The Star that the men community toss bananas in the lake instead of oranges, how odd.

As I’ve always been quite negligent of Chinese festivals and traditions, I’ve never tried or even get to witness people casting tangerines into the sea/lake.

Speaking of oranges, I had zero at home, neither did Lynette, Yong Hui or Carolina had any to spare. Yea, that was how urgently we required oranges -______- After much brainstorming and calling, we stole a few from Jian Hon and Swea Phin who imprinted their names on an orange each to throw on their behalf. After dinner Jin Hwa, Kok Sing, Jun Keat, Yvonne, few more people and myself head over to the lake at Taman Jaya to throw our own oranges and participate in the festivities. There was a massive crowd of people of all ages, very unexpected loh. Even as we were leaving there were still people swarming in the entrance

As we wedged our way through to the lake, we passed by many many enthusiastic jantans armed by long poles with a net at the end to fish for floating oranges with contact numbers on it. And nowadays, it’s not only the single ladies that are doing the casting, the men do it too. I know a few who did anyway *coughs*

It was fun, despite the not so interesting performances and standoffish choi san yeh, I’ll never look at Chap Goh Meh as just another day with fireworks blasting around after this.

Time As It Is

Lately, the concept of time seems to have faded a bit, it does not present itself with the importance and influence it used to wield over me. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not but hmm..

I think it's the holidays and Subang air taking over my system.

Now I have all the time in the world.

All the time in the word. Really.

I'm cringing at the sound of that, a little bit.

For once I am not running short of time. Yelling at Yang to hurry up and stop blogging when he's supposed to have his head burried in between books.

But you know, I can't wait until college starts again.

I miss the tarc aura of overly exessive hardwork and bad taste in fashion...

And I'm actually serious.

Where Are You?

Once upon a time in high school, (I know it wasn't that long ago, but it feels like it. Time is flying by like a race car hot on its wheels, I'm sure you'd understand what I mean) I have a by the name of Izham

To be honest, I never knew much about him, or how long we've been classmates, he was just a superhardworking malay guy in class that I never give a damn about. Not many people noticed him, but one day, I did.

I don't know how, I don't know when.

I suppose it was that time when I was falling behind studies and need Biology notes to copy. Or the time when we found out we something in common; we despise Puan Rozaimi down to the core. Teehee.

I was never a student role model, rules slip through my fingers like sand, skipped class like there's no tomorrow. I screamed/laughed too often and get away with illegal hand phones time after time.

Izham, very much in contrast was a school prefect, annoyingly lamenting about me bringing hand phone to school. Very very serious in serious in everything he does even if it's just sweeping the floor -_____- He's always the A student who completes homework before it's due, has his name glued to the front seat of every lab class, making multiple trips to the bilik guru each day, always tsking me for leaving all my books under the desk and detects my lies like I was transparent.

How we get along, I don't know lah. But under the watchful eyes of Rachel Choi, the head school prefect, who occupies the seat next to mine btw, our friendship blossomed.

There was a times I got on his nerve (accidentally, really) and he chased me to the end of the block with a broom until we were both out of breath and then he gave up becos we were late for Physics. Along the way he picked up words like tulan and what you want now? :D

In turn, my science practical books were nearly always up-to-date and sometimes, he'd borrow my mine to copy and he stopped being so surprised when I tell him I've done a certain homework.

Then came one day, Izham just stopped coming to school.

At first we passed it off as not feeling well or something mindless like that. But for the next few days, his seat in the front of the class stood empty without the blue blazer hung on the back rest.

He practically vanished in face of earth.

His friends hadn't a clue where he went and teachers said he stopped school, just like that. Where got people leave just like that wan.

I remembered being angry for quite a while, because I just wished he stayed long enough to brave SPM together with the 5 Baktians.

I guess he hates saying goodbye as much as I do.

Zam Zam Ala Ka Zam, how are you? Are you happy? I'd like to know :)

Belated

This post is close to two weeks behind time but there is a need for it. For this friend is worthy of at least this much. He's one those people who will make you laugh until your stomach doubles up in size from all the air that rushes in while you were laughing. And when you really really wanna
stop laughing, you just can't.

Once, he even offered to do laundry for me, under what circumstances, I won't tell you. Hehee.

Happy Nineteenth Wei Chian
:)

Redundancy

Yes yes. I KNOW this rant blog is being neglected. If I already don't feel it dripping in my conscience or stare wide eyed at funny texts coming through my phone to check if I'm still alive, I see the many many people who have attacked via the chatbox.

Anyhow, smile people for I am back. Teehee.

Exams was monopolizing nearly every second of the day okay. I will NEVER take last minute studying as a solution ever again. Really. If I wasn't thinking about what to study, it'll be where to study. So so much to study, so little time and yet I spend the days waiting for inspiration to make a visit.

Meanwhile, I went on the hunted for Maggi with Telur, crisps, watermelon slices and Milo. And for guitly conscience sake, ke mana I pergi, I'll bring something to read. Pegi toilet also bawak tau. Whether I end up reading it or not, lain lah ceritanya.

Exam season is not only time to gain the extra knowledge but also the time for me to gain unnecessary weight. Cos there is nothing interesting about memorizing all the functions of six types of information system or the seven steps of a successful interview. And thus, I eat. And eat and eat :( Now all my bloody pimples popping like mad weh.

The above is Statistics in an uglier form, Quantitative Studies. It took me ages to master this chapter because I was so kiasu about entering the exam hall blank headed even though I've been told I have an option of forsaking that chapter.

It was recently that I discovered I have a fear of exams. I get so so nervous before papers my insides lurch, threatening to spill it's contents. I'm jumpy, I can't think straight and .....my palm sweats.

Aiyoh. That's the worst that can happen okay. Particularly for essay writing papers. Jian hon has this idea that my sweaty palms can drench my test paper and flood the exam halls and beyond. If only...

No matter how many time I reminded myself or be reminded, not to give in to the bundle of nerves, I'll end up going it anyway. The trouble with giving yourself a pep talk is that deep down, you know it's all bullshit. And I panicked.

No need to fret now for exams are way way over. For those sad sad people like Kelvin and Lerina who has papers after the one week hols, I hope you've been studying cos I'm sure as hell you don't wana retake any papers :)

Untuk minggu-minggu yang akan datang, I'll be on eternal holidays! There's a long long list of things wanna accomplish within this time span but I am yet to find it, or rather, think of it just yet.

Cos right now, I just want to rub it all your faces that I have holidays and you people will be off to mundanely boring lectures, even boring work, resuming life at it's very hectic pace because I can. I bet you didn't have to attend lectures and english with the bitch in December while knowing everyone else was splurging in the year end sales or sipping coffee catching up with life, well I did and it was hell. Ah well, lets just say I'm gloating in glee right now shall we.

And now, I look forward to celebrating Chinese New Year to the fullest.

I expect...

to see more RED.

more sight seeing & visiting
